Neil Grayson plays Alec, who Jaye dubs “The Mouthbreather.” The Mouthbreather is Jaye’s boss at Wonderfalls, though the two started out as co-workers. They were both in running for the Assistant Manager position because the store’s manager, Peggy, was pregnant, when the position was given to the Mouthbreather, even though he was significantly younger than Jaye and still in high school, because he was more of a “people person.” Jaye resents his authority and generally does as she pleases at work.
